For a client who wanted a ready-to-live home on a rural block, the 40ft expandable container house delivered the fastest possible path from order to occupation.

Expanding the footprint

The unit ships as a standard 40ft container and unfolds on site to create a 74 m² two-bedroom home. Kitchen, bathroom, flooring and cabinetry are installed at the factory before dispatch.

The expansion mechanism is operated with a small winch and requires only a level base and crane truck. A covered porch can be added on either side.

Ready in 15 days

After delivery, our team completed the external connections, sealed the joins and commissioned the services. The client moved in 15 days later.
